Nommers here's a meal sure to delight. Can substitute flank steak for a more affordable, yet quality meal.

This recipe is tasty and simple, just how I like it. Quick too!

SERVINGS: 1-2 if cook 2 steaks at once PREP TIME: 5 min COOK TIME: 6-11 mins TOTAL TIME: 11-15 mins

Equipment:

  • Pan
  • Tongs
  • Oven
  • Tabletop Grill

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of asparagus
  • 2 filet mignons
  • Spray Olive Oil or Canola Oil
  1. Take out filet mignon medallions from the fridge. Wash in water and vinegar or lemon juice to clean it thoroughly. Rinse a bunch of asparagus and shake dry gently over the sink.
  2. Season the filet mignon with a Bangladeshi curry or curry of your choice and a pinch of salt on both sides of the medallions. Spray the asparagus with a spritz of oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. When the pan is ripping hot and smoking, sear each side of the steaks for 2 mins. Depending on the doneness you choose, bake in the 400 oven for :
    • Blue= 1 min
    • Rare= 4 min
    • Medium Rare= 5-6 min
    • Medium= 6-7 min
    • Medium Well= 8-9 min
  4. In the mini grill, grill the asparagus until tender. It's a brief change, not very long, but just keep an eye on it. You can get a charred mark on it if you like by grilling a little bit longer.
  5. Let your steaks rest for a 1-2 min. Plate with asparagus & bon apetit, Nommers!!
