Want Sarku Takeout at Home with little cooking time and set-it-and-forget-it applications? Say no more! Tried and true.

Nommers you can use chicken thighs skinless or trim the fat for a nice in-between when it comes to eating healthier and full flavor. Chicken breast can be dry and dense, but thighs are a nice alternative; as they balance taste with weight loss. Let's normalize the word healthier to mean appetizing! Flavor can still be attained when eating healthy. Just do it in portions, just sayin'!

This recipe is tasty and simple, just how I like it. Quick too!

SERVINGS: 1 PREP TIME: 10 min COOK TIME: 18-20 mins TOTAL TIME: 30 mins

Equipment:

  • Air Fryer
  • Metal Bowl or Sturdy Plastic container for Marinating
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Tongs

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Less Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 shakes Pepper Flakes
  • A pinch of Sea Salt
  • 1lb Deboned Skinless Chicken Thighs
  • Coconut Oil Spray
  1. Take out ingredients. Place ingredients in your working space. Put filtered water in a plastic container with the meat. Add vinegar or lemon juice to water with chicken to rinse and clean the chicken. After 5 minutes sitting in the fridge, strain water into sink leaving the chicken in the container.
  2. In the same plastic container with chicken, add all seasonings. Let marinate for 1-2 minutes as you set up the air fryer.
  3. Spray the air fryer with a spritz of coconut oil. Use a tong to place marinated chicken into it until one layer of chicken fills it. May need to cook 1lb of chicken in two total batches in the fryer.
  4. Cook for 18-20 minutes each batch. 20 minutes end up on the crispier side if you like that crunch and flavor. Bon apetit, Nommers!!
