Everyone has their challenges and they are valid. Some people are challenged with balancing marriage, school, and self-care. The question becomes: When can I fit in my school, work, or other commitments after my self-care?
Prioritizing your self-care is an important mindset that needs to be adopted. When you focus on optimizing your self-care, you’re also saying to yourself “I’m important, and it is smart for me to take care of me so I can refocus on what’s important to me daily.”
Here is a great video that explains the “whys” of why to self-care and a little more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0iVTQS8ftg
