Tips to Cope Effectively in a Non-ideal Environment:
Set aside time to complete your work tasks and avoid distractors/distractions. Tell yourself to “focus on your work, and ignore the bull shit” or anything that gets you to focus and works for you. This is just one example.
Do the best you can.
Have a purpose and vision to work hard in school. For example; it is to work hard to become a good nurse is a purpose. One vision could be to work hard in school to become an independent nurse.
Work with the appropriate channels in your school to help you resolve the issues you face at school that create a non-ideal environment.
Look into your options to transfer to another school. If you have appealing options to transfer to another school and it offers what you need, seize it. If you do not, then stick it out at your current school. If you have to stick it out, find ways to incorporate on self care to better focus on your priorities and be mindful when it counts the most.
